When social media app giant Snapchat announced the date of its Initial Public Offering (IPO), Rick Davis Productions, Inc. negotiated “exclusive” sponsorship coverage with national financial networks CNBC and Bloomberg for our client TD Ameritrade.

This strategic “road block” sponsorship put TD Ameritrade front and center with a captive audience of active traders and investors watching live market movement for this highly anticipated IPO!

The Snapchat coverage “all-inclusive” sponsorship included tagged promos, segment intro’s and “in content” on screen logo branding, which in some cases lasted up to 4 minutes! Sponsorship billboards and a commercial unit were also included.

In total, TD Ameritrade received 30 sponsored segments over a day and a half of Snapchat IPO coverage! Plus, the financial networks viewership and web site traffic from 15%-45%. The result was TD Ameritrade not only greatly increased its exposure over their brokerage competitors, it reported a boost in daily trades!
